Breakfast (Pancakes and scrambled eggs)

I made plain pancakes in the mini maker last night. I just used regular pancake batter. However, I tried something new. Scrambled Eggs!

I make them with a splash of milk and a super small shake of salt then scramble with a fork. One egg takes up just over two wells. After 2 minutes poke the center with a fork and press down, a little uncooked egg appears. Then turn the egg-muffin upside down in the cooker so the original top is now on bottom and the original bottom is now on top. Cook for another 2 minutes and they are done. They cook perfectly :)

Chilie Cheddar Biscuits

So this was a recipe in the guide that came with maker. I made them at my parent's house for the Superbowl. It seemed no one wanted seconds except for the Huskey dog. On that note I do not recommend them. But hey to each their own. PS the dog was one happy camper!

Cookies Part 2

Well I learned that 8minutes doesn't work very well. They look good, but unfortunately they don't come out of the well, they just fall apart. They tasted good though :) Live and learn.

Cookies

So I tried something, after all this is what this blog is supposed to be about. I put the refrigerated cookie dough in there (chocolate chip of course) and it does work. However, the cookie keeps on cooking after you pull it out. It looked light brownish-tan when it came out, then 5 minutes later I looked over and it was dark brown-almost burned. That was ten minutes in the cooker so next time I am going to try eight minutes. Live and learn :)

Mini Brownies

Makes About: 40 with full box and 20 with half a box

Ingredients:

1 Box Family Size Milk Chocolate Brownie Mix by Pillsbury
1/2 cup of oil
1/4 cup of water
2 Eggs

Mix these ingredients in a bowl. Scoop 1 tablespoon at a time into each well. Cook for 10 minutes

(If you want to half it here is how)

2 cups and 2 tablespoons of Brownie Mix (Put the other half in a baggie)
1/4 cup of oil
2 tablespoons of water
1 Egg

Pigs in a Blanket

Who doesn't like pancakes and sausage? So here is a new version of pigs in a blanket
Ingredients:

2/3 cup Hungry Jack Complete Pancake Mix
1/2 cup of Water
5 squirts of Butter (optional)
2 cooked sausage links (I like to cheat and use Bob Evans express cook sausage)

Mix all but the sausage together. Then take the cooked sausage and cut each one into four pieces for a total of eight between the two links. Put 1 tablespoon of batter into each mold then drop a link into each well.Push the bit of sausage into the batter. Close the lid.

Cook for 10 minutes then enjoy.

Cheesy Garlic Biscuits

Ingredients:

3/4 cup Bisquick
1/4 cup Milk
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/4 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
*I have squirting butter so I put a squirt on each biscuit top before closing the lid*

Mix all the dry ingredients together then add the cheese. Put about a tablespoon of dough in each cupcake well. Add that optional extra squirt of butter to the tops and close the lid. Start at 10 minutes then check to see if they are done.
